About Me

0 16

Hey everyone, figured I’d toss a short thing up about me.

I’ve played video games since I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at age 6, when I was first exposed to them in the hospital. My first system was a used NES from a garage sale. When I was 13, my liver failed, but I managed to recover. When I was 22, it decided to fail a second time and I have not recovered from it.

I suffer from Cystic Fibrosis, CF-related diabetes, end-stage liver disease (cirrhosis of the liver), and a non-functioning pancreas. I am currently on transplant lists for a liver and a pancreas. I was going into writing and journalism when my liver experienced the full failure at 22. Now I am rarely seen at a few conventions, I cosplay, and occasionally write fiction or review video games to fill my days.
